After adding your roommate advert, there will be a BRIEF DELAY FOR HUMAN REVIEW.  You can't view member profiles, reply with questions to other adverts, or privately message other members until you pass.

While we regret the brief delay may be frustrating for some, HUMAN REVIEW IS ACTUALLY NECESSARY to shield the sincere from a barrage of dirty rotten spammers.  AFTER you pass, you'll be able to browse and message whomever you like, all 100% free.

We will email when you pass and/or have message(s). You can also check here (if you see "sign in" rather than your username, please sign in first).

Room in Journal Square/ No Deposit or Broker Fee

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

We are looking to fill 1 bedroom in our 3 Bedroom/1 Bathroom Jersey City apartment. The apartment is located directly across from Saint Peter's University and less than a mile/15 minute walk to Journal Square and the PATH train to NYC/Newark. McGinley Square is also right around the corner, and the overall neighborhood is filled with many types of restaurants, gyms, and stores!

The living room and kitchen are both moderately furnished but have room for additional furniture, kitchenware, etc.
The bedroom is unfurnished with a spacious closet, 3 windows, hardwood floors, and is generally quiet throughout the day. The room is one of the two larger bedrooms at roughly 12x10—we can also accommodate extra storage space in the living room closet.
(We have taken pictures of the room with and without furniture to give you all a better idea of space.)

The building has an elevator, trash, and laundry in the basement.
Additionally, the building has storage space available for rent in the basement.

The lease runs through to August. Rent is $620 and paid at the beginning of the month through the apartment management agency. Unfortunately our lease is not pet friendly.

Utilities include gas, electric and internet and are paid directly through us.
Water is included in the rent.

After gas/electric, rent, and internet are paid the average total is usually around $660

My roommate John and I are in our mid 20's and are both musicians by trade. We are looking to fill our vacancy with a roommate that is friendly, clean, and personable. Applicants would be able to move in as soon as they are approved by the management company!

Feel free to message me if interested or with any questions—I will get back to you within the same day.

Please also note all applications to the management company are assessed a $50 fee.
