Unfortunately, Detroit ranked worst on Best & Worst Places to Rent in America.
This poor rating was based on Detroit’s ranking as least in the “Affordable Rentals” category, while being also highest in “Rent-to-Price Ratio.”
This does actually mean that Detroit is . . . not great in terms of rental bang for your buck, at least according to this survey. And we’re not disputing them.
Everybody knows Detroit’s struggled. Just not working well, not affordable rentals, not ratios!
But if you’re going to go ahead and live there anyway, possibly with a roommate to combat those poor rental ratios: find a roommate in Detroit.
